They simply need the opportunity to earn an honest living, so they may learn to walk independently in The Light. But what about the women who have been housewives most of their lives? With no work experience or “worth” outside the home, how are they to not only secure any job, much less one that will cover household expenses? What about the elderly widow, whose advanced years in age are seen as no more than a liability? What happens when a new widow is left without her husband’s income? Yes, in the last century, society has allowed women out into the work force. ![]() Today’s culture no longer has three to four generations living under one roof, all pooling their money together to pay for “family” expenses. The 21st century has brought about many new challenges for widows.
